Shwetha Menon's Malayalam Actress delivery on Kalimannu Mallu Film

Actress Swetha Menon is blessed with a baby girl on September 27 at 5.27 pm at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. The act was filmed live by the crew of Blessy's upcoming film titled 'Kalimannu' which portrays the intimacy of a pregnant woman with her still unborn child.

The filming lasted 20 minutes and the shoot ended with Shweta kissing the newborn. Three members of the film crew including cinematographer Jibu Jacob and his two assistants were in the room along with Shweta's husband Sreevalsan Menon at the time of the delivery

Shwetha Menon's pregnancy as well as delivery will be seen in Blessy's new film about pregnancy and motherhood. In an interview, Shwetha said that she had the rare opportunity of telling the world that pregnancy and delivery are not just the responsibility of women but men have an equal share of responsibility during every second of it. She is going to utilise this chance effectively, she added. About two years ago, Blessy had conceived the idea of a cinema, based on the conversations of a pregnant mother with the child in her womb. Shwetha's burning desire to shout from the roof top about the greatness of motherhood, when combined with Blessy's fantastic idea, found fulfillment in the form of the new movie being planned. Shwetha has already acted in three movies after becoming pregnant. Director Blessy said that filming a baby being delivered is a minor issue but the bigger picture is that the real mother is acting in the role of mother.
